Little Green House is a POP Preschool! Fees from $650

Little Green House is proud to share that we have been appointed as a Partner Operator (POP) preschool under ECDA’s Partner Operator scheme from 2026 to 2030. This means that from 2026 onwards, families can enjoy our high-quality preschool experience at fees starting from just $650 per month!

But… what exactly is the POP scheme?

If you’re wondering what being a Partner Operator means — and how it enables preschools like Little Green House to provide quality programmes at more affordable fees — keep reading to learn more!

What is a Partner Operator (POP) preschool?

The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) Partner Operator (POP) scheme is a government-supported initiative designed to make high-quality early childhood education more accessible and affordable for Singaporeans.

ECDA provides funding to selected POP centres that meet high standards in curriculum, teacher training, and learning facilities. In return, these centres must follow the fee caps set by ECDA for Singapore Citizen children, so families can enjoy full-day infant care and childcare at a lower cost.

Under the POP scheme, full-day Childcare fees are capped at $650 per month (before GST) for Singapore Citizens, and full-day Infant Care fees are capped at S$1,290 per month (before GST).

Simply put, enrolling your child in a POP centres offers you a balance of quality education, well-trained educators, and regulated school fees — giving parents both quality and cost savings.

How Does the POP Scheme Benefit Parents?

More Affordable Fees

Thanks to the fee caps under the POP scheme, Singapore Citizen families pay less compared to fully private preschools, where fees can be much higher.

Quality Assurance

POP centres are required to meet defined quality criteria for programme design, teacher training, and learning environment, such as those outlined in the Singapore Preschool Accreditation Framework (SPARK). This means you’re not just choosing an affordable centre — you’re choosing one that delivers quality education.

Stability & Predictability

With fee caps in place from 2026 to 2030, parents can have greater confidence in what their monthly fees will be, making budgeting easier.

On top of that, eligible Singapore Citizen families can further lower their out-of-pocket costs through the Basic and Additional Subsidies.

The POP scheme offers Singaporean families a chance to access excellent infant care and childcare programmes at fees that are more manageable than traditional private options.
