Little Green House @ Hougang offers full-day and half-day infant care programmes for infants and toddlers from the age of 2 to 18 months.
Our dedicated infant care area is thoughtfully separated from the child care section, creating a tranquil and secure space for infants to play and nap. Adorned with warm, soothing colors and equipped with thorough childproofing measures, our infant care bays provide a safe haven for little explorers.
Our team of professionally trained infant care teachers employs verbal stimulation techniques, utilizing animated reading, classic toys, musical instruments, textural materials, and gym equipment to foster language and social development
All this learning naturally works up an appetite! Our specialized in-house kitchen is committed to preparing nutritious and delightful meals, including organic cereals, wholesome porridge, and fresh fruit puree. The menu undergoes regular changes to ensure a variety of options that will surely satisfy those eager little tummies.

Preschool
Little Green House @ Hougang offers half-day and full-day programmes for children aged 18 months to 6 years, spanning pre-nursery, nursery, and kindergarten levels.
Our award-winning Literacy SMARTTM program start our students on their early literacy journey, with a focus on helping children confidently develop their 4 core language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), both in English and Mandarin. The 3 core pillars of the curriculum model, namely The Growing SMART Journey, The Blooming SMART Challenges and The Nurturing SMART Sanctuary, enable children to deepen their knowledge of themselves and the world around them, gain independence and acquire strong foundational skills which help them become a confident, well-rounded and happy Literacy SMART™ Kid by age 6.

With a dedicated emphasis on literacy and bilingual immersion, we firmly believe in making learning an enjoyable and pleasurable experience for our children. Adorning every wall are diverse theme boards featuring shapes, vocabulary lists, numeracy, and Chinese characters—a crucial aspect of Little Green House’s Literacy SMART™ program, aimed at fostering fluent readers. In Hougang, we are very proud of our “Current Affairs” theme board as is stocked with various news articles, providing young minds with the opportunity to progress from asking “what happened?” to exploring “why did this happen?” and “how was it resolved?” Educators further involve students by encouraging them to re-enact the articles, enhancing their understanding of the context.

By MRT
From Kovan MRT Station, cut through Heartland Mall and walk along Hougang Street 21 towards Hougang Ave 1.
By Car
Take Exit 9A from KPE and turn into Tampines Road towards Hougang Street 21 .
By Bus
Bus nos 53, 53M, 62, 62A, 113, 113A and 115 are available for added travelling convenience. You may alight at the bus stop at the opposite of Block 232, which is the nearest bus stop to the centre.
