Preschool

Little Green House @ Woodlands offers half-day and full-day programmes for children aged 18 months to 6 years, spanning pre-nursery, nursery, and kindergarten levels.

Our award-winning Literacy SMARTTM program start our students on their early literacy journey, with a focus on helping children confidently develop their 4 core language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), both in English and Mandarin. The 3 core pillars of the curriculum model, namely The Growing SMART Journey, The Blooming SMART Challenges and The Nurturing SMART Sanctuary, enable children to deepen their knowledge of themselves and the world around them, gain independence and acquire strong foundational skills which help them become a confident, well-rounded and happy Literacy SMART™ Kid by age 6.

Our Literacy SMARTTM School Environment

The center generously provides ample space for children to explore and uncover the diverse facets within its confines. Bathed in natural sunlight, the center grounds exudes vibrance, with its white walls offering a delightful contrast to the colorful learning charts and decorations thoughtfully arranged by the teachers. Little Green House’s Literacy SMARTTM program is an advocate for fostering an environment where children can evolve into proficient readers, budding writers and confident speakers. To cater to various age groups, Little Green House @ Woodlands boasts numerous a wide variety of learning experiences that take place in specialized learning spaces created to enhance their growth and understanding, featuring favorited educational zones like:
  • The Sound Factory: A state-of-the-art audio learning area which carries a vast collection of award-winning audiobooks, to enable children to follow story lines, improve focus phonetics and word associations.
  • The Language Lab: A reading and storytelling zone that is well-stocked with an extensive range of award-winning book titles, readers and magazines. This corner houses an extensive collection of award-winning titles, including works by renowned authors like Eric Carle and Dr. Seuss, as well as newspaper clippings and magazines.
  • We are proud to have The Word Wall in our canter. It features an array of words encompassing vocabulary and mannerisms for children to learn and practice articulating. As for our Current Affairs Corner, each day, a news article from the headlines becomes the focal point of discussion. Children are encouraged to share their thoughts, penning down reflections on the article and lessons learned. By exposing children to diverse reading materials, the program instills a genuine love for reading, ensuring their interest is consistently stimulated.

From Marsiling MRT Station, walk towards block 161 to where our centre is located.

By Car

Take exit 10A from BKE into Woodlands Avenue 3 towards Woodlands Centre Road

By Bus

Bus nos 187, 856, 913, 913T, 925, 925M, 950, 960, 960e, 961, 961M, 963, 966 and 963E are available for added travelling convenience. You may alight at Marsiling MRT Station, which is the nearest bus stop to our centre.
