Job Description:
- Assist in preparation of materials for conducting tasks and activities daily (sing-a-long, art projects, sensory exploration, etc.)
- Consistently maintaining regular observation and evaluation of child’s development and progress
- Foster a trusting and respectful relationship with children by being a positive role model when interacting.
- Ensure safety of each child through close supervision, whether in the classroom, play area, or any other areas in the school compound.
- Conduct childcare routines in a manner that is prompt, hygienic and consistent with early child development practices. These routines include diapering, feeding, bathing, hand washing, napping and transitioning between activities.
- Assist to maintain daily journal of milk feeds, solid feeds, diapering etc., in accordance to relevance for each age group.
- Accept and maintain responsibility for the appearance, decor and cleanliness of the Centre.
- Take corrective actions and inform the Principal for any potential safety hazards to prevent injuries.
- Follow the AECES code of ethics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with each child’s family.
- Contribute to the effective operation of the Centre by participating in staff meetings, meet-the-parent sessions, open house events, workshops etc.
- Constantly seek to acquire organisational and professional competencies, skills and knowledge to improve personal performance; prioritise them for the development of self and others.
- Any ad-hoc duties that may be assigned by the Management or Supervisor from time to time.
- Collaborates and communicates respectfully with Colleagues, fostering a positive work environment.

- Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)

Job Description:
- Perform thorough cleaning of the entire school premises, both indoors and outdoors.
- Ensure all areas, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces, are cleaned to a high standard.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to effectively carry out cleaning tasks.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment and promptly notify the principal when detergent is running low or equipment requires replacement.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
- Work collaboratively with other cleaning staff and school personnel to achieve cleanliness goals.
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently and within specified timeframes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns observed during cleaning duties to the appropriate authority.
- Perform other cleaning-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the school administration.
Job Description:
- Prepare three daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and tea break) in accordance with the provided menu.
- Ensure that meals are prepared and served in a hygienic and timely manner.
- Maintain a high standard of food quality, taste, and presentation in line with menu specifications.
- Monitor food quantities to prevent shortages and ensure all students and staff are served adequately.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute meal preparation efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Keep accurate records of daily meal preparation and consumption.
- Communicate any special dietary requirements or food allergies to the appropriate personnel.
- Compile monthly ingredient orders and submit them to the principal for procurement.
- Assist in monitoring food inventory levels and manage ingredient storage to prevent waste.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines in all food preparation and handling activities.
- Report any kitchen equipment maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate authority.
- Follow all health and safety protocols and maintain a safe kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Perform any other kitchen-related tasks and responsibilities as directed by the school administration.
