Little Green House is excited to launch our Halloween Express Open House, where little adventurers will embark on a fun-filled transportation journey with a Halloween twist — filled with discovery, creativity, and learning through play.
Join us on 24 & 31 October for an exciting Halloween Express adventure filled with imagination, playful challenges, and hands-on fun!
Hop aboard for an exciting transportation adventure with a fun Halloween twist! From spooky rides and pumpkin pit stops to magical train adventures, children will explore playful challenges while developing their language, creativity, problem-solving, and early numeracy skills through hands-on, literacy-rich activities.
Discover how our Literacy SMART™ curriculum and Literacy SMART Challenges support children in building strong language foundations – developing the confidence and essential skills they need to thrive both in the classroom and beyond.
Families can look forward to 3 interactive transportation-themed stations with a fun Halloween twist, where children will:
- 👻 Build their very own spooky ride using blocks and loose parts while exploring creativity, problem-solving, fine motor skills, and spatial awareness
- 🎃 Count and Match at the Pumpkin Pit Stop as they count Halloween-themed cars, pumpkin wheels, and treats and match them to the correct number while developing counting, number recognition, matching, and early numeracy skills
- 🚂 Create their own Trick or Tale as they match Halloween characters, vehicles, and pictures to create a simple spooky travel story while developing vocabulary, storytelling, communication, and sequencing skills

Literacy SMART™ Programme
At Little Green House, we take pride in creating a literacy-rich and conducive environment with age-appropriate readers, periodicals and current news clippings at our reading corner available throughout all centres. Our teachers conduct word games, storytelling sessions, book sharing, and reviews between lesson plans and play activities to encourage the children to share what they have read with their peers. Award-winning book titles are also in the children’s class library for easy access. The classroom walls are filled with visual charts, deciphering common words with pictorials for self-directed learning.

Our experiential learning approach allows our students to participate in the learning process actively. We use a range of activities, games and materials to introduce new concepts, ideas and knowledge to the students.
