Little Green House is excited to launch our Space Odyssey Open House, where little astronauts will embark on an out-of-this-world journey filled with discovery, creativity, and learning through play.
Join us on 12 & 19 September for an exciting Space Odyssey filled with imagination, adventure, and hands-on fun!
Blast off into a universe of adventure, where children will embark on exciting space missions while developing their language, creativity, problem-solving, and early numeracy skills through hands-on, literacy-rich activities.
Discover how our Literacy SMART™ curriculum and Literacy SMART Challenges support children in building strong language foundations—developing the confidence and essential skills they need to thrive both in the classroom and beyond.
Families can look forward to 3 interactive space stations, where children will:
- 🚀 Build their very own rocket using blocks and loose parts while exploring creativity, problem-solving, fine motor skills, and spatial awareness
- 🪐 Become Planet Explorers as they match planets by name, picture, or colour through an interactive game
- ⭐ Take on the Star Counters challenge as they count, sort, and match stars while developing early numeracy and number recognition skills

Literacy SMART™ Programme
At Little Green House, we take pride in creating a literacy-rich and conducive environment with age-appropriate readers, periodicals and current news clippings at our reading corner available throughout all centres. Our teachers conduct word games, storytelling sessions, book sharing, and reviews between lesson plans and play activities to encourage the children to share what they have read with their peers. Award-winning book titles are also in the children’s class library for easy access. The classroom walls are filled with visual charts, deciphering common words with pictorials for self-directed learning.

Children deserve places of learning and play which invoke a sense of wonder, curiosity, connection and discovery.
Our experiential learning approach allows our students to participate in the learning process actively. We use a range of activities, games and materials to introduce new concepts, ideas and knowledge to the students.
