Revamped Curriculum For Enhanced Chinese Literacy
– Release across all centres in 2020 –
The move to revamp Little Green House’s Chinese curriculum has been in the works since early 2019 and is slated for release across all centres in 2020. This move is aimed at accelerating the children’s grasp and command of the Chinese language through an enhanced curriculum that nurtures their Chinese language capabilities holistically. Our curriculum specialists have developed this new curriculum with S.T.E.A.M subjects as its core and infused it with activities and lessons that will certainly pique their curiosity and interest.

Little Green House @ Sin Ming is our new centre that will offer an integrated Mandarin-Immersion Curriculum based on Professor Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences approach. Mandarin is the main language of instruction and almost all its lessons and activities, including Drama, Healthy life skills, Communication, Mathematics activities, Science exploration, Music and Art & Craft are taught in that language.
Through our Mandarin-Immersion Curriculum, children become young maestros of the language, acquiring an expressive word bank of over 3,000 words, and learning over 35 Chinese poems and 50 Chinese idioms by the time they enter their Primary School years.
